omar look good to me in the fight surtently a learning experience the guy was not coming forward he was just backing up and huging and omar was just thrown he was not swinging like we usually see him or his body shots just jab, jab, jab.i personlly said in the past he needs a jab plus he didnt freak out or get tired when going to distance liek in the past and today was a learning fight and he was cut also the crowd was like always half and half some like him some jelous of him being the soon of the legend.

yes indeed last time he got a decision was against james ventry in oct2009 and he was really tired couldnt throw anymore.this time he did ok he was using the jab alot it seems that when he gets hit with a good shot he puts his face for more 6 rounds he did good and his body look really ripped and strong liek never before look to me he is more confortable at 147 he is ready for 8 rounds next time

hey, Good fight for omar, he showed some poise, he wasnt throwing wild punches like before, he used to swing from off distance and he lost balance, this time he showed some poise and took things easy, he was working double left hooks combos to the body and the head, once or twice he was against the ropes, to me he looked comfortable there as he was swinging his body and avoiding some shots and other got caught in his gloves, i believe he took it easy and wanted to go the distance, after the fight they interviewed in tvazteca, he said he was challenged by the rivals defense and he wasnt tired at all, Omar, Sr and beltran (promoter) insisted that he is very likely to go for 10 rounders right away.

i agree with armando seems he doesnt mind getting hit and taking shots to the face i saw in his face some difrent calm and looked like he wanted to save energy.comantotors said Jr is a better boxer and more skilled and they said omar is a better puncher
-
seems that omar and jr can take punches, jr is a better boxer now but omar really improved this time that sr was helping training him, i believe omar likes to do things like bending and sliping punches and blocking with his gloves and he is learning and trying hard, i believe omar will show better defense than jr in the future. jr has 40 bouts and very bad defense, hope he improves that too.
