sturm-mayorga for the WBA middleweight title sep4.JR waiting the winner for a december fight and fight for the middleweight championship.who do you guys think wins the sturm-mayorga fight and wich one of the 2 do you like best for julio sturm or mayorga.i liek mayorga because of his popularity and the way he promotes a fight is incredible his insults will bring the best out of jr

Sturm DESTROYS Mayorga!!!...Mayo has been out of action for a while and he is much older now...Sturm beats him all day long for a UD win...Sturm vs Chavez is not a good matchup...Sturm has been Champ for a while and it would not be a good fight for JR...Sturm is too good a boxer at this point...There are many good fights out there for Jr...How bout a fight vs Foreman

Where is this coming from? I don't think Chavez or Mayorga are even ranked by the WBA. How are they in line for title shots.

Mic you know the WBC...they do what they want and Jr is ranked #1 by the WBC...Sturm would fight Mayorga cause Sturm forever has DUCKED the top fighters around his division...he has remained Champ by fighting sub par opponents...Mayo is pretty much finished so Sturm would gladly accept a fight a against a guy w a name is who is older and is smaller...Jr not ready for a CHampionship fight but he is very close...maybe a fight or two more under Roach and Jr would be ready...There are some paper belts out there that Chavez can fight for now...But the REAL DEAL he needs couple more fights to erase some bad habits

Sturm to fight Giovanni Loranzo on Sept 4th. Looks like your right CainP, another sub-par opponent for Sturm. I wonder if Chavez is still in line for the winner in this scenario. Shouldn't they be announcing Jr's next opponent soon?
