segura's victory exposes puerto rican boxers.JR MUST REALIZE..

JR MUST REALIZE puerto ricans cant handle the presure they're chins are weak cotto chin is very questionable and his body cant take power shots.giovanni segura's big win in their own country proves puerto ricans are very beatable and in history they have always shown those weaknesses against mexican fighters i see jr with big chances with a 10 week training camp.what you guys think?

I agree with you, I said before that the key to get cotto its body shots, and if jr manages to tag him with an overhead right like he did duddy, he can do some dagame, but he has to catch him first, cuttin the ring and hitting the body its step 1.

doing what he did to duddy the first rounds is dangerous jabbing and moving cotto does best when fighters move backwards.

call me crazy but... I think theres is a posibility that jr can overpower cotto, if he can walk through cottos punches like margo did, he might get a chance to overwhelm cotto in a close fight, and it will be over very soon. on the other hand, if miguel cotto has enough power to back up jr, I think it will be very dificult for jr to win, cause I dont think he will learn how to box properly against cotto in such a short notice, cotto is a great boxer and has been in with great fighters, mosley, pacquiao... etc.

you saw the 4th round against foreman yuri's right hand?yuri is a guy with 8 ko's after he landed that right he went back to running jr throws good right hand

I checked that 4th round he felt that right, but jr would have to keep the pressure all night if he wants to succeed. cotto sometimes even run backwards so he needs to be in shape too, counter punch by cotto also seems dangerous.

thats right jr will get him with those right hands he was getting duddy and he will presure.rememebr cotto cuts easily

Honestly i dont think it even matters i dont think this fight will go down...They said before that they wanted Jr to train w Roach for a year or so to get Jr up to next level...These guys are not dumb...You dont jump from Duddy to Cotto...Cotto vs Chavez Jr will not go down!!!...I said it before and ill say it again Jr needs another tune-up fight before getting in there w Cotto...Id like to see Jr take on either Cory Spinks or Yuri Foreman and maybe even Joel Julio...Those 3 fighters are better than Duddy and will be a good fight for him under Roach...Jr wins again then i say line up Cotto...Plus this will let the Chavez camp see what Cotto looks like in fight #2 under Steward and also this gives Jr another two camps w Roach and great sparring sessions...Jr can only get better!~

well... cotto said last week nobody has aproached to talk to him... so cain may be right also :(
