Omar seems to have a better future than jcc jr...he is in a very comfortable weight 140(superlightweight)wich was his father's natural weight..And acorrding to his father julio sr omar has always been more willing to train harder than JR that jr jas always been more lassy.you could tell in his fights.look at julio's first 18 fights then look at omar's 18 fights.he is going to turn 19 december 31 this kid will mature alot faster than jr..at the age of 20 he will be a lightweight champ mark my words.....

Wow. I've watch his last few fights and Omar seems to go into fights out of shape. If anything he seems very immature and undisciplined in training. A few of his fights have been controversial decisions.

Mic i dont think so...he had a bad one aaginst hernandez..after that he did good...omar alot faster and more agressive than jr was at 18

Yes, a bad one against Hernandez who's record was 0-10-2.
What about the Armenta fight in Maywood? Judges decision were 40-36, 39-37, and 36-36. To me it was a very close fight and a somewhat controversial decision. Omar faded, which is why I say he's undisiplined in training.
His potential is very good and he has the tools, I just hope he matures and get really gets serious about training.

Terremoto is back...sep15....its on....this boy is even better than jr last fight was a great one with a tragic end.but that was a good performance by omar..also may2nd he fought on the undercard of hatton-pacquiao...omar is serious bussines this boy is most likely to fight canelo alvarez next year.same height..not same weight but omar could make 147

ey dam i didnt said julio SR.read it again my freind it says omar is even better than JR..i never said anything about the hitting power.

I know Rafreg, when I first saw omar i was impresed with his power, dont know if he hits harder than sr, julio sr is a narrator for tv azteca, and when he talks about omar he says hes got a lot of potential, but he needs discipline, the way he talks about him seems he really think he could be exceptional, more than jr.
its still to early to tell.

Omar is in the latin fury 12 card in nyc, opponent to be anounced. duddy is on that card also. I hope he is emotionally recovered, I want to see how omar is doing after the Marco Nazareth death. hope he does ok. they did good setting his comeback in the us away from the mexican press, he doesnt get that much attention yet in the us. and he doesnt need it now.
