Morales vs. Pacquiao III?
(9 posts)-
- Erik Morales wants to fight Manny Pacquiao for the third time. It is said that if they do get to fight it would be on September 16, 2006, in Las Vegas, Nevada, also on the undercard would be Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. In their first encounter Morales won and in the second Pacquiao won.

- I would like for this mathc to happen, and it would be sweet if Morales won. I dunno tho, Manny is a beast!
-
- Take a look at Morales' recent record, his last six fights in particular:
http://www.boxrec.com/record005065.htm
2006-01-21 Manny Pacquiao - Loss
2005-09-10 Zahir Raheem - Loss
2005-03-19 Manny Pacquiao - Win
2004-11-27 Marco Antonio Barrera - Loss
2004-07-31 Carlos Hernandez - Win
2004-02-28 Jesus Chavez - Win
Notice anything interesting? The three wins were all bouts where Chavez Jr. was fighting on the undercard. The three losses, Julito wasn't on the undercard. I predicted the losses to Raheem and Pacquiao by this. Yeah, it's probably just chance that it happened this way, but it makes you think.
If Chavez Jr. is on the undercard of Morales - Pacquiao III as he's expected to be, I'm sure Morales will win.

- hmm i gues it just cioncidence. i hope Erik Morales this time and by knockin pacquiao which i i dont see happening by win will be good.

- THiS WOULD BE A VERY INTERESTING FIGHT... I WOULD DEFINETLY WATCH IT.... I LIKE BOTH FIGHTERS BUT IM DEFINETLY GOING FOR MORALES....
-
- ill go for morales this time.,.,.,

- Manny Pacquiao is not going to fight Morales at 132. I think if one of the 135 pound titles is vacated then Barrera should fight Morales for the fourth time. The Pacquiao fight wont happen at least not yet since each fighter has a decided weight advantage. Morales has the advantage at 132 plus. Pacquaio at 132 under.

- I don't think Morales should fight Barrera . He(Morales) is not what he used to be. Watching Barrera vs. Morales IV would be like watching Morales vs Paquiao II all over again.
don't want to see that. BUT if Morales fights Pacquiao one more time and wins then maybe he should think about fighting Barrera but otherwise It's not a good idea.

That's a good point. Now that some time has passed there's news out of the Barrera camp that he wants a rematch with Pacquaio.Whether or not it's true will have to wait and see.
