JR. is calling off the sep 11th fight

I saw an interview in mexican newspaper "Record", the say they talked on the phone with jr and he said he was gonna talk to freddy and then he said he doesnt want to fight on september 11, he said wolak is not confirmed and they quote "I cant have this kind of unserious busisnes at this point of my carreer, im not interested in figthin in sep anymore cause they havent confirmed wolak, I prefer to focus a 100% on cotto", he said that if arum convinces him he will fight, but he is going to ask him not to.
on other matters, yesterday hes uncles said they were going to sue jr an zanfer for an indemnization and they said sr backed them up, but today, jr alsa said he got to an agreement with his uncles "theyre my family and i love them, i dont want to be in bad terms with them, but they should also be happy for me and the the way i looked against duddy", so... what you think? think arum will make him fight on sep?

That's too bad, I was looking forward to seeing him fight next month. On the other hand, concentrating solely on Cotto can't be a bad thing. We'll see what happends.

the kid is bound and determined to only fight the big fights talks good about him dont it.a 8 week camp for cotto is great.think abotu it he was going to fight on sep11 then on the 13 he was going to the philipines to be pacquiao sparring partner no time to recover he will coem fresh to the cotto fight.

Jr vs Cotto...Man that would be nuts...Roach must be really doing some things in the gym we have not seen he is showing extreme confidence in the kid saying he will beat Cotto...That would be a great fight!!!...I thought they were going to tune up Chavez w another fighter but it seems they are going straight for the Top...Personally i rather see Chavez get one more tune fight under Roach but if Roach thinks Jr is ready then im a believer...Im on board bring on COTTO!!!!

It must be very difficult to break training with you uncles/family. They may be upset, but I think it shows alot as to where Chavez wants to get in his career, and his ability to see the big picture. Much respect.
I also think he would be better off with a tune up fight before Cotto. Wow, this is a huge step-up if he goes straight for Cotto. I wanted to see how he did against Wolak.
