Cotto vs Chavez may be cancelled... Jr insists on Canelo

acording to this, cotto recently had surgery and may not be able to train until november and he may not see action until 2011.

meanwhile Jr's still pissed at alvarez, i think its becoming a big deal IN MEXICO, and jrs pride is involved, thats why jr is paying attention to alvarez, now he said alvarez and golden boy turned down and offer of 750k, plus advertising, tv and ppv benefits. he said "he turned down the best purse of his carreer", "this fight is going to happen sooner or later". also WBC jose sulaiman is saying he will do efforts to make that fight.

by the way acorrding to fanhouse and boxingscene cotto-chavez is not cancled and miguel wont have a problem fightign at the end of the year

i'l disagree cain martinez admited he didnt beat williams after the fight he said williams pressures alot that why he wont fight him again.think about it margarito and williams beat sergio so that tells you what another cotto they cant handle strenght and pressure

Pavlik had turned the fight and was starting to work Martinez until he got cut and could not longer see. The cut changed the fight.
Still seems that Martinez is too quick for Chavez, for now.

Ralphy what are you talking about i saw the Martinez vs Williams fight...Martinez beat him hands down...If anything it should have been a split decision for Martinez or at worst a draw...Was a great fight but i thought Sergio won it...Margarito had the hands wrapped w cement when he beat Sergio...Martinez would destroy Margo w out the Plaster...Last time i headr Williams did not want to rematch w Martinez but since he had no one else to fight he did and Martinez gone beat him..Ralphy you say Martinez cant handle strengh and pressure????LOL you obviously have not seen him fight much...I just think that at this point Cotto and Martinez are on dif levels...Cotto not the same and he is going down...Martinez it seems is getting better w age like Pacqiou...Martinez is a Monster and will manhandle anyone from 154 to 160...

beltran and arum will not go for martinez not because of him being more dangerous he is not a draw and i dont know where you guys been but if you dont have a fan base you will not fight the best.fortunally for jr he has a name and a large fan base he will get big fights all the time i've always trusted teh guy i never lost fate in him and im sure he will beat cotto even if teh fight is at the GARDEN wich i think its was already offical

I just read that the Cotto fight is still on hold...Roach said that if it was his way he rather have Jr fight one or two more times under him...Arum who it seems is pushing for the fight wants to make it Jrs next fight...Roach said that if fight is made he will have 3 months to train him but wont be 100% ready!

Just read that if Chavez wins vs Gomez He will still fight Cotto early 2011...I think Arum wants to measure how Chavez handles Gomez since both Cotto and Chavez will have fought him...I think Chavez destroys him we will see it...If Jr struggles it may be pushed back some towards end of year...
