    • Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. has grown out of the 140 lb. division and will now be fighting at welterweight (147 lbs), and he's already scheduled for a shot at the WBC youth welterweight title. On August 26th, Junior will step into the ring to challenge current title-holder Timothy Bradley who is undefeated with [url=http://www.boxrec.com/record268173.html:2hzt6onk]13 wins, 7 by knockout[/url:2hzt6onk].

Two other second-generation boxers are expected to fight on the card in San Jose, California, - Jorge Paez Jr. and "Pipino" Cuevas Jr.

    • Okay, it looks like Junior actually won't fight Bradley since he just won the WBC Youth 140 lb. belt and even says he's going down to lightweight.  :P

They haven't said how many rounds it will be, but Bradley's previous fights for the youth title were 8 and 10 rounds.

    • Chavez didnt want to fight longer than 4 rounds he just wanted his paycheck so he could get back to the casino and spend his purse. Come on folks seriously I really want to see a Wiley Chavez Jr. fight. Dont you? And I will even pay the 79.95 pay per view to watch it. What it really boils down to is we want to see a fight.

    • The bottom line is this. The Wiley JCCJ fight is not going to happen, for now. JCCJ is under alot of pressure for backing out of this fight. He will go on fighting opponents who are just a shade under his level until he think he is ready. Is it smart? Who knows. Did you see what the odds were in vegas? Wiley was favored by a hugh margin. Personally I think it would have been one sided for this reason Wiley's power would have been to much and Sr know this first hand. JCCJ is just not ready.

A couple of Jr's of past great fighters, should be interesting. The boxing blood continues. Chavez Jr, is going to be champion, not if, but when.

All you Chavez Sr haters step aside, Chavez Sr, will be remembered as who he was, "the greatest" mexican fiighter of all time, let see if anyone comes close to his "dominance".

Jane, do you know boxing? If you do, how refreshing!!!!

      Keep watching......
