I SEE WHAT YOUR SAYING BUT I THINK THERE BRING HIM UP SLOWLY WHICH I THINK IS GOOD LET HIM BUILD UP MORE CONFIDENCE. YOU DONT WANT ANOTHER FERNANDO VARGAS WHO FOUGHT ALL THE BIG GUNS IN BOXING TOO SOON AND LOOK WHAT HAPPEND TO HIM. CESAR JR IS YOUNG AND ALMOST READY FOR THE BIG PAYDAY.

    • according to espn.com, if Chavez Jr. wins his next fight, it could set up a showdown w/ Arturo Gatti some time in tha fall, as long as Gatti wins his next fight on July 14th.  its probably just speculation right now, but Gatti is an exciting fighter and would probably appease some of the people who want Jr. to fight better fighters,

You need to remember too that unlike other fighters who have 50-100 and some amateur fights, Chavez Jr has no amateur experience. So really when you think about it he is doin pretty good. Even in amateur you start off fighting people who have the same number of fights (0-10)or at novice experience. Then you become open and fight better fighters with more fights. same shit applies!

    • I agree, I think Chavez jr. taking it slow is good for him. The Vargas thing is a good example. But then again no one really hasn't given him any problems, except the draw he got.
