Of course no one knows what goes on in the mind of DLH, and most fighters do unretire, but this was one of those situations where under these circumstances, retirement was really the only option. That or become this generations Mike Tyson, or even a 40+ yr old JC Chavez. DLH never wanted to become a circus show draw, he wanted nothing but legit fights at the highest lever with the best fighters in the world and make lots of money while doing it. Well, he can't do that anymore, so he was left with the choice but to retire. It had to happen sometime, and its ok it happened. Nothing wrong with him retiring and nothing wrong if he never comes back, hes paid his dues.
