Chavez vs. Nazareth
Marco Nazareth (4-3-0) was knocked down in the first round. After another hard-fought three rounds, referee Memo Ayon stopped the bout at 2:59 into the fourth round, upping Omar Chavez’s record to 17-0-1.
Sadly, Nazareth suffered a subdural hematoma and passed away on July 22 despite immediate surgery.
