Omar Chavez will return to the ring on September 15 for the first time since his match against Marco “Tejano” Nazareth, who tragically passed away days afterwards from injuries sustained during the bout.

“Qué Viva México de un Solo Golpe III” will take place at the Palenque del Recinto de la Feria in León, Guanajuato, Mexico, and will feature Jorge Arce vs. Simphiwe Nongqayi for the vacant IBF Super Flyweight title.

Also on the card, Humberto Soto will put his WBC Super Featherweight title on the line against Josenilson Dos Santos, and Ulises “Archie” Solis will take on Gilberto Keb Baas.

The card will be broadcast on TV Azteca / Azteca America.
